On a Howrsey note

Since we are on a horsey topic, I thought I would enlighten the blogger world to this wonderful game called Howrse.  Before I had Red, I was fairly bored with life, and wanted to have something to tie my love of horses with the love of not doing anything at all (aka sitting around and playing on the interweb)  I found the game Howrse, a game developed in france that has  to do with simulated horses. That breaks down into me being obsessed with a game that focuses around horses, life -life creatures. Not something silly and make belive like world of warcraft... or... uh, Halo. Not all games have to do with killing creatures, I know that that what it seems like the world wants us to do. Its really nice to sit back and enjoy a laid back game. So basicly in howrse, (i dont actually know how to say this word, how-rrr - se.. ho-wer-ers.. i dont know) you focus on a breed of horse, currently in my little world of howrse, I am a player named faded polka, why, I really like polka music so sue me. I  breed Newfoundland Ponies, and Purebred spanish horses. Currently I have been working on trying to get really awesome Newfies. The goal of the game is simply, like all the others, though done in a far superior fashion, but to get the best horses, make the most money, and of course, to have fun. To get "elite" horses the aim is to get these rankings called "greenstars" currently since newfoundlands are kinda a "rare" breed (mind you, theres only about 10 breeds to choose from) The arabians, hanos, and TB are the more popular breeds that have achieved  this elite status, while my mere newfies have not. I am currently working on, like stated before, breeding more advanced newfoundlands. My goal is to get some double greenstars, this goal may be unlikely, but it may actually get my name out there. Whatever works. Since newfies arnt really, uh, good in the general standpoint of howrse. I also work on geldings to earn some extra money, it works quite well. I have been playing this game for almost a year. It has lots of other cool attributes, like "passes" which buy cool little bonuses for your horses, there is also a strong sense of community and well, I can add more, but this has already turned into a mini commercial, sorry, now back to our regular scheduled program.

But first.. if it sounds like fun to you, than you should join, or atleast check it out.
I have been playing for almost a year, and still love it.
